Possibly a leaking hydraulic lifter. They can leak down while engine isn't running and then make a ticking noise for a while on startup. If it takes 10-15 minutes to go away, it is more likely to be a loose tappet which needs adjusting.

This sound like you have either delay on internal lubrication to tappets, most probably due to correct oil either change or viscosity.
In how many miles you do change the oil ? Just do an engine oil flush and a engine oil & filter change using also a viscosity improve and follow for a different engine behavior.
Sounds like you need to run a thinner oil maybe. The oil is not pressurizing the engine components quickly and you hear was is called engine tappets. The rockers on some cars have what are called hydraulic lifters. They fill with oil after startup and then the sound goes away. You may think about having the lifters replaced soon, which are not too expensive. Be sure your vehicle has hydraulic lifters also. If your mechanic is any good he will know if it does or not. He maybe waiting for it to cause engine damage also, and knowing you will return to him to have it repaired also. Be careful.
its normal to hear the ticking noise on innitial startup in the winter, its the lifters pumping up, and when the motor gets warmed up everything expands and quiets down.. nothing serious
so it goes away after a bit, that could be cause theres no oil on the top part of your engine, thats normal. wait till it gets older, it will be louder.
you tuned a bering in the motor use a piece of wood 2by 4..place over each cylnder with you ear to th wood wood to the cyl. you will hear it loud in one cyl..that ones bad replace motor
your whining noise might be comming from dry belts in order to pinpoint your problem have a jug of water ready before startup open the bonnet then startup if the noise appears pour water over the belts if noise goes away replace v belts
I would have you oil pressure checked. The oil pump or bearings could be going out. The lifter noise on this car usually will go away faster then 5 minutes. I think the noise is lasting a little to long.
