You must clean the lint filter, then, remove the vent hose from the back and clean it as well, reach inside and clean that too.

My hotpoint dryer takes hours and hours to dry clothes?

clean the vents as it is an air restriction, first take off the vent house run dryer and feel for hot air, if no or little hot air then then inside of the dryer needs to be cleaned, now if you run the dryer with the hose off and it drys like it should then the vent hose needs cleaned/unrestricted. Hope this helps Tim

Dryer is not drying clothing, takes approx 4 hours to dry one load, I can see condesation build up behind electric panel where numbers are.

Sounds like you have a blocked vent. Make sure there is good airflow. Heat and airflow is what drys and if one is removed you will not operate correctly.

Maytag dryer not drying clothes properly

Have you tried cleaning off the sensor? Many of the newer dryers have a sensor that, when dirty, can no longer determine the moisture level of the clothes. Some manufacturers recommend using a light vinegar solution. Check your owners manual for location and recommended cleanier. Also, make sure your exhaust hose is clear of obstructions and that you vacuum out your lint trap area. HTH.

Dryer taking too long to dry clothes

Hello :)

Very common problem. You need to call a
duct cleaning company and tell them to clean
your dryer vent. Rule-of-thumb: dryer vents
should be cleaned every couple of years to
prevent them from being clogged with lint and
causing lint fires. This is definitely your problem.
Good luck :)

p.s. one way to verify a clogged vent is
to go outside where the vent exits the house
and feel the air-flow. should have adequate air-flow.

Dryer does not get hot enough to dry clothes Roper REX4634KQ1 Electric Dryer

Most common cause of this is a clogged venting going to the outside to test this remove the vent from the back of the dryer and run a load if it drys ok them you know you have a venting issue and will need to be cleaned out if not plz repost and we can look deeper into it
