How can i get free software for my dvd...

i have a lite-on dvdrw shw-160p6s ata device and it won't reconize that there is a disk in it.i bought a new computer and installed it,but i lost the software and it won't work.i have vista and it installed a driver but it won't work can somebody please help me? thank you.

- i got it from vista when i installed the device.

The dive has to be vista compatable Where did you get the driver?
