Freezing up please tell me what to do my xbox froze up on me i get nothing

It's very possible that your xbox is overheating or on the verge of a "red ring" problem. Try testing another game to see if the game freezes. If it does and you end up getting the 3 red rings, you will need to take measures through xbox support to get it repaired (for free if within 3 years of purchase)

the game. my fallout does that sometimes for my PS3 and its because of small scratches. nothing big but it still messes with the gameplay..

This means your xbox 360 is dead you cant ix it on your own you must send it away to microsoft to be repaired if it is still under warranty then it will be free but if the warranty has end then you will have to pay to have it fixed.

Shutting off the Xbox corrupted the Hard Drive... Have you ever got a Live System Update? You can also reset your Xbox without shutting it off using the controller. You probably have the Three Red Rings of Death... Go to this...

It might have overheated, After it cools try it again, Make sure your vents are not blocked.

why this is happening is because your hard drive may have a corrupted file inside that game but your not screwed i have a solution :) while it is a crappy process you have to call the support center 1-800-4myxbox and tell them exactly whats happening they should tell you to go to the dashboard then system hard drive and you type a button code much liek a cheat which will let them observe your consoles memory code as you play so when you turn it on and it freezes they see what code is making freeze and delete it. i had to do this but when it froze again my console got the three red lights lets hope this doesnt happen to you. i have some things to try at hom though try unplugging your ethernet cable and all other cords then re-plugging them back in. if that doesnt work try re-setting your network connection, unplug modem and router for 3 minutes then re-plug in and let sit for another 3 minutes if this doesnt work call xbox support.
