reset the unit using a small paperclip and inserting it in the reset hole (see picture below) once it restarts it will go through the initial setup again. the last one is to select your language.
Switch your tom tom on and look for menú and click on it,
then scroll to instalación then you should find idioma. this is where you will be able to change the language back to english
I have a TomTom One 3rd Edition, so if your model is different, the menus/icons may not be the same. However, it's worth a shot.
Tap the main part of the screen to bring up the main menu. You will see an upper and a lower row of icons. Click on the blue "wrench" icon (lower row, center icon). Then, click the arrow (the blue triangle) on the next 3 screens. When you see the icon with 3 waving flags (top row, left icon), click on it. Then scroll down to select either English UK or English US.
