Question about Uniden BC244CLT Base Scanner
I purchased a Uniden 369XT and I cannot get it to scan anything but Alaska ALMR. I have followed the instructions. I can't even get it to do close call scanning. It says close call but it just has a little graph with bouncing lines and if you press scan it goes right back to Alaska. I have tried locking out every thing but Colorado where I live and still the problem persists. So the question is am I just tooo stupid to work this thing or am I missing sonething. I am ready to send it back and get my old trusty Pro-96 fixed and throw rocks at anything that says Uniden on it.
Mine did the same thing. I installed ARC-XT-PRO software from BuTel, deleted all factory programming from the scanner, then downloaded/programmed everything I wanted from RadioReference.com. The BCD396XT and BCD996XT are fantastic scanners, but you have to beat them into submission before they will do what you want them to.
