Problem for Polk Audio AMR50 Computer Speakers
Exact same problem; low volume
Older speakers work fine,Polk Audio is useless on my pc, unless I want to wear them like earmuffs. and that is with 100% MAX volume on all settings....the speakers have no volume control on themselves

- I opened the HD Audio Realtek on control panel; using the headphone jacks I disabled the the feature for in/line mic front and back; and then set all settings at 100%. I now have volume that doesn't require wearing them as ear muffs. It took a while to reconfigure Realtek HD Audio manager to make it work half decently. I can hear without using a headset. It will never "ROCK". but it is now usableSolution #1

1st check your PC if audio is fine with headphones or some other speakers , then check your control panel and test sounds compatibility might that you are using wrong speaker setting in the PC.
