GE Profile Spectra XL44 burners taking long time to light

We are having difficulty with all four of the burners lighting. It seems like it takes longer everyday for one of them to catch. The sparking mechanisms are clicking. Is it a maintenance issue? Maybe there's something that we can clean? Or is it a gas issue? Although, no other gas appliance appear to have problems.

Thanks.

some time it works okay. But more and more they are going to not click so, there is no spark.

What should I have to do?

Turn the power off to the oven.Gain access to the burners on the oven,at the end of the burner there are orfices.Slide the burners out and remove the orfices (they will have a hole in them) or get a paper clip and clean the holes out. Also where the ignitor sparks at on the burner, look at the burner holes and make sure there clean, let me know how you make out.

Lower oven burner will not light.

Hi I have a older GE that the oven won't light. It is a gas range that is electric ignited. The top burners do work but the oven will not light. Is it pricey to have this fixed?

Getting to the Pilot

Your model JGBP28DED2WH uses spark ignition on the stove top burners, and a glow bar ignitor, part number WB2X9154 for the oven and broiler. To get to the bake ignitor if oven will not light: Take the racks out of the oven. Remove oven floor by removing two screws at back of oven floor and lifting floor. Remove the square metal flame spreader to get to the burner / ignitor assembly. (note: The ignitor may still glow when you try it, but usually is still the problem)

XL44 GE oven not working. Bottom burner not getting gas.

You probably have a bad ignitor. If the ignitor does not draw at least 3.5 amps the gas valve will not open. This is a safety feature.

GE Profile Spectra XL44 oven- Makes a popping noise while heating up

assuming you have a gas rang here sounds like a bad ignitor, too long to light causes a "popping "noise when it finally does, as well as extending cooking time and perhaps slight smell of gas while cooking, all signs of bad ignitor.when you start the oven should light bake bar in 40-60 secs. any longer, bad ignitor
easy part to replace yourself part num wb2x9154, remove bottom of oven cavity, 2 screws mount ignitor to burner and 2 wires lead from ignitor( use wire nuts provided if needed . and makes no difference which wire goes where theres no polarity.

Stove top pilot light

I have a GE Gas Stove XL44 the stove top buners don't light by themselves without manual lighting. When I turn on the buner knob the buner doesn't click. Also I used my self- cleaning oven for the first time and stopped it before the time was up after that is when the stove top buners wouldn't light by theirselves.
