Question about Briggs & Stratton Briggs Stratton Intek V - Twin Vertical Ohv Engine with Electric Start 22 Hp, 1" X 3 5/32" Shaft, ModelNo. 44K777 - 0027 - E1
Started my mower today and it ran really rough,no power and got very hot.the exhaust pipe down to the muffler started glowing red.shut it down and removed the muffler thinking maybe something had plugged the system, nothing there.started it without the muffler and it still ran rough and got hot again, dont know whats going on.
Sounds like a mice in your muffler. Its stuck, stop using it, you'll be damaging the valve on the motor. Remove it and test it. Try to remove thing in, i know some people put it in the fireplace to turn it red and burn things (like mice) inside and open up things...
