Question about Balance CP4401 PC Desktop

Open Question

I work in the virtual world second life. My colon ruptured, and Iwas hospitalized. My wife rented me a compaq c700 laptop for use in the hospital, and it worked great!. I got home, and decided to try to use it for remainder of renta. I cant get it to stay on. It makes a clicking sound and then shuts off. I was connected to the hospitals wifi, and at home have no wireless connection. I was shown a screen that said "available wireless connections in your area. I clicked on one. That is when it shut down, and has not been able to come back on for more that 5 seconds since. I turn on the laptop, and it shows login screen starting, then I hear an audible click, and It all goes black, including the desktop lights. advice on how to clear what I have done, or to restart would be appreciated. There is a very helpful duo at the Compaq rental place, but they don't open until 10 a.m. monday, and I am concerned as I have meetings today. I do have 2 Imacs, but am very ill, and cant get out of bed. Please will you share any advice?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I've had the same problem.
It's likely that the fan is either not working or shuts off prematurely.
The simple solution, instead of buying and installing a new internal fan is to place the computer on its side and put a small electric clip-on fan directly over the vent. Turn on the clip-on fan and then start the computer; the clip-on fan should generate more than enough cooling so that the computer doesn't overhead.

Two notes:
The clip-on fans usually have the clip on the back of the fan so you can clip it to a bed headboard or to a small pole or shelf; the fan is about six inches across, and they sell at Target, Wal-Mart, Amazon.com, etc., for anywhere from $15 to $25, but you can usually buy them at Big Lots or similar stores for about $5 and you can sometimes find them at the Dollar stores.

You can use a larger fan, but a larger fan will generate too much wind. You want to use an electric clip-on fan and not a battery operated fan because a battery operated fan won't generate enough wind/cooling.

And, if the problem ends up being more than simply a cooling problem, you can at least use the clip-on fan later.

Let me know if this works.

Try booting into BIOS. If it stays on than you need to reinstall your operating system.

Ive only been using my pump for 10 days and its already lost most of its suction. Can this be fixed?

Take back wherever you got it and get your money back. I am a Pediatric nurse with a specialty in Neonatal ICU. So many of moms had to pump for extended periods of time so they needed a great pump.I also ****** fed all three of my kids for over a year each, one for three years do to severe medical issues so I know my ****** pumps. Many hospitals have lactation consultants and rent out hospital grade pumps. You can also rent ****** pumps from home health equipment stores. I always rented the hospital model of the Medula ****** pump. Yes it was large, but I loved that I could pump both sides at one time and have about four ounces each ****** in just ten minutes. It is worth every penny. Enjoy that baby they grow up too fast. Have a great day.
