if split ac display shows e3 what is the solution for that problem

I'm having the exact same problem, same model. My guess at this point is that the outdoor unit fan has been iced up due to recent heavy snows. I have a shop light hooked up to thaw things out and will re-check in the AM

The only person who can fix that now is an AC engineer

which type of mounting is suggested wall or ceiling, if it is suggested that wall mount is nominal then the height is optional, mount it as high as possible. If ceiling mount is suggested then closet to outside wall as possible

If I see a code blinking and all is normal as far as I can tell it means something is in a time out mode and counting down to energize. This may not be the case but let it run and blink for a few hours and see if it comes on.

Mark your watch so you can see how long it takes to change or start.

If it does start then you know about how long it will take to recycle.

Assuming you have changed the batteries in the remote (if you have such), and it does this again do not use the remote again, if possible. Try it with manual only. Remote - remove batteries, this will eliminate the remote as the cause.

Next is find the legend of the codes for your unit. Sometimes they are located by the wire diagram on the unit its self, under the wire terminal panel.

Low voltage shorts can be a real pain to find!!! i would try a process of ellimination: first i would try to elliminate the thermostat. then id look for a wire that is vibrating on something in the cabinet.
