Question about Apple 20 iMac - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz, 2GB RAM, 320GB DD, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, WIRELESS De... Mac Desktop
My 20 inch imac keeps trying to eject dvd but it wont come out. I've tried all of the shutdown restart options with no luck. Computer was bought new in May 09 from best buy. Anything I can do besides being without my mac for a period of time?
Not if you don't want to ruin the warranty.
maybe a certified repair shop can replace the drive for you.

Tips for a great answer:
If you're trying to eject a CD or DVD:
Choose Apple menu > Log Out, and then log in again. Try to eject the disc again.
If you still can't eject the CD or DVD, choose Apple menu > Restart. While your computer restarts, hold down the mouse button or trackpad button until the disc is ejected.
