Question about Toshiba Satellite A25-S207 Notebook

1 Answer

A problem with the cooling system is detected. Satellite A25-S207

While I'm working with my Satellite A25-S207, a warning message appears on the screen which indicates to turn off the computer and return it to service because a problem with the cooling system was detected. The CPU fan works, so I'm wondering if there is another fan inside.

Thanks for your advice.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My toshiba satellite a25 s207 trys to power on but wont

Hello sir, the reasons why your power supply wont turn on;
  1. It detected an overload, it is called a switching power supply, if it detects shorts, or something wrong on the mainboard it will not start.
  2. It cannot supply the right amount of current, the power supply is defective.
I had that symptom on my compaq armada, I dissassemble it part by part, then slowly reassemble it, piece by piece making sure all contacts are good and clean. As i power on the unit it turns on without a problem. to do this you should know a little thing about laptops/PCs. hope this helps

Toshiba Satellite A25-S207 Cooling system not working

Yes Its possible to fix. However your conclusion about fan might not be totally correct. as there might be different reason as Fan works CPU controlled. It should be diagnosed by hands on technician. If part requires the replace it should be done by someone who is skilled. You may take to Toshiba Authorized Centre or Independent Computer Technician. You can go to http://pcrepair.toshiba.com and locate the nearest service center.

Good Luck
