Hi,

First of all make sure your computer is clean and free from virus or trojan. This is to make sure the hacker won't be able to get into your email outside paypal. Please don't also use the password of your email address to make it safe for your paypal.

Step two : Go to paypal.com and make sure you are on the home. Click Problem with Login. Choose I dont know my password and type in the Verification code. Then enter the email addres of your paypal. IF it shows error then Choose the other option which is ""I don't know what email address I use"" then ""I need to create a new password""

Step three : Go to your email and check the email of paypal.

It is nothing but part of email marketing. Any emails which are specific to you only, you can spam them out if not of your concern. Others like from social networking etc, may be part of email marketing or some of your friend is trying to add you to some other group also. You can ignore.

For email marketing, there is a link in the bottom of every email that reads unsubscribe. Click the unsubscribe and you will never get email from that particular email marketing campaign.
