My Haier a/c shut off on its own I can't get it to turn on or do nothin when I try to turn the power on. the on/off switch is even hard to push on but when i switch it on still nothing what do i do?

Try the remote control.  You may have a problem with the contact switch in the power button.

there is a single capacitor on the main power board that has burned out. I found another site that had a great step by step with pics but now cant find the link...if you take the unit apart and look at the board where the power cord is connected...run your finger across the top of the black and silver capacitors you will find one that is slightly buldging up...that is your problem child...a new one cost a whole $1.62 at Frys...it cost me 3 bucks for the solder since I couldn't find mine...it took about 35 minutes to repair...the hardest part is flipping the board over and melting the correct solder point ....search around and see if you can find the web site I mentioned he did a great job of explaining it...his fix was for a slightly newer model but it was spot on...good luck

SOURCE: wii balance board: i press the power button but nothing happens

Ensure you have fresh AA batteries installed. Ensure that Wii Fit (or any other Balance Board using game) is fully started before pressing the power button.

And, at the risk of sounding silly, ensure that the button is facing away from the TV.

try ot unplug for 2 minutes,,, and try again may have fuses inside also

SOURCE: car will not turn over ...will only push start.
