I've had this happen when the Hard drive failed, so I would suggest just pull out the hard drive and see if it boots up properly, if so then you need a new drive. The other cause could be a failing 12v / 2A power supply

You need to contact support for a password reset. I never heard of this manufacturer and I am in the business. But their website is http://www.floureon.com/home-security-surveillance-e_1/. Usually they can offer reset options once they confirm you own the DVR.

No sound floureon dvr
have floureon 8 channel dvr but cannot get the sound to work or the motion detection buzzer to work. it is not my wiring or cameras or microphone as all worked with the previous dvr correctly. have bought another microphone, camera and dvr compatable and linked it straight to monitor and it works. plug into floureon dvr/no sound. my previous cameras and dvr gave motion detection buzzer no probs, but no buzzer from floureon box/help
