Question about Asko W6221 Front Load Washer
I have an Asko W6221 washer that I purchased in 2002. Recently, it stopped working (only the power light comes on). After doing a little research, I thought the issue was the door switch. After I ordered a new one and replaced it (what an ordeal that was when you don't have a diagram to work from!), I was able to start the machine and begin a run. However, it never finshed the run (it stopped when it was supposed to drain) and I can't get it to do anything anymore (not even a manual rise, spin or drain). Do you think I have an issue with the main board? Asko includes a high-level block diagram of the machine inside, but it doesn't provide enough detail to troubleshoot this issue. Do I take another gamble and replace the board (it costs $350)?
First I would check you drain pump ... make sure it is clear and clean.. next if you have a meter be sure it is getting power and that it is not shorted ...if it is not getting power then I would check the wires first then check your control.
Hope it helps if Not let me know more about you problem..I can help
