*** You should check your warranty and call for service as there are HIGH voltages in a dryer that can Kill. ***

*** The following is for information only ***
* Disconnect dryer from power outlet (it's the really big plug)
* how to check dryer (detailed); https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv2UqRUKnm0
* Lots of things can cause the dryer not heating:
* Check power at dryer outlet (220 or 240 Volts AC)
* Check High limits (thermal fuse). Check and replace.
* Check the heater element for continuity.
* Check timer.
* Digital driers have a CPU controller and may have a hardware problem and/or bad programing. This may be caused by a surge or lighting strike. Either way, you will need a MFR qualified tech to check as these newer units are all digital. Some (if you have the wireless option) can be checked by calling the MFR help line. They can check it by internet remote link.
* Older dryers with a selector switch (the knob) gets used and abused. Check rotary switch (they burn out all the time as it has the heater and motor load on the same contact) If it's burnt then change it as it may cause a fire.)
* Look for signs of burning; wires, melted parts, missing or loose parts especially electrical connections.
* vacuum out lint and check all spade (push on connectors) for rusty or burnt connections (caused by high amperage loading from motor and heater load.)
* Final; Again, be safe and call for service. Many of these washer and dryers come with very long warranty (5-10 years) Why fool around with something that is already covered?

Replaced heater core and thermostat. Im getting no

make sure all the air is bleed from the cooling system and its full. if this is good then you may have a water pump problem like worn impellers or a broken water pump not circulating the coolant.

Hi, my air handler, when the thermostat is on auto will usually turn on but sometimes it doesn't. When the thermostat is set to "on" it always comes on. This has happened with 3 different thermos

Im willing to bet you have a bad relay or sequencer that energized the fan. If it periodically works when in auto im sure this is your problem. If you have a wire landed on the G terminal you should have your tstat set up as electric heat OR tstat energizes the fan rather than gas OR equipment energizes the fan.

I have a chronotherm 111 honeywell and i set it on auto and auto and cant get it to go higher then 23o

Hi,
On many thermostats you need to take the cooling temperature up before you can set the heating temperature higher...you need to maintain a 2 of degree deadband between the two settings...

Belkin F5D7050 - Problem with utility

These wireless adapters are awful small with no cooling features. I think a component on the circuit board over heats, cuts out until it cools and comes back on. I bought a D-Link adapter and it did the same thing. I opened the case to help cool it so it would run a few minutes longer. I would touch it very carefully to see what got hot. Something under a sheilded cover would heat the shield, so I crazy glued a heat sink to that, cut a hole in the outside case and put it all ack together. It still gets quite hot and once in a while cuts out. A better solution would be a better until, but I cannot recommend one. Sorry See what you can do to keep it cool is all I can suggest.
