Question about HP Pavilion MD5020N 50" DLP HDTV
I replaced my lamp after my previous lamp died after about 3 years. Installed the new lamp and everything worked great for about 2 hours and then the tv died. Initially the bulb and temperature light came on but after unplugging and restarting it the blue light comes on like it is trying to fire up but nothing.
Place heat shielding around the lamp to prevent overheat; use cooling spray (freon) to cool any chips or, circuit boards near the lamp as you attempt to start the set check the lamp for the correct serial # voltage etc.
