I have an Ariens Zoom 1540 (SN. 005556) Zero turn mower, model number 915043. My axle broke, but I cannot seem to verify the correct part number. The Transaxle part number is 00177300. Help?

There is one common problen that causes this. Infront of the rear wheels there are two housings for the indepentent hydrostatic transmissions. There is one gold colored shaft with a ninety degree angle on it sticking out from EACH of the housings on the top front. Again these are on both sides and they each need to be pushed downward so that the rods can then be pushed backward into the transmissions to inguage them so both of the wheels are powered.

Hey Duchi, Mr. Phil Walker is probably correct I use Jacks small engines Frequently for parts they rarely don't have what you need. Try psep.biz also they are both very good sites for parts!

I own this model as well. The manufacturer issued a "cutting improvement kit" for this model number. The belt number has changed as well. The number you now need is # 07242200

I am in the process of ordering one for mine right now. Good luck!
