You can try going into the BOIS and turning off the password request.

SOURCE: laptop logs in at welcome screen after password is

it looks like you have a registry problem.
it often happens due spayware o malware messing with the windows registry..

try to turn your computer on and after you see the HP logo repeatly press they key F8 until yousee a black screen with options like start computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, VGA mode and so on. select SAFE MODE with NETWORKING.
and press star. the compter will load windowswith the normal welcome screen, but the picture is usually bigger, try to log in as ADMINISTRATOR, it usually does not have a password. otherwise type in the password and log in.
if things goes well you will be able to download a program to fix your mess up registry.
don't panic i will tell you what to get.
go in www.glaryutilities.com and download the program. glary utilities, it is FREE so no worries, it has ONE CLICK SOLUTION. run the program fix the registry and it will hpefully work, restart in normal mode log in and see for yourself.

if you can't log on safe mode due you don't have the administrator password, try using you screen name, if there is not possible way to log in you will need to restore your computer with the windows disk

If you did not set up a password, then just press enter without entering any password.

When i open window it says password and then i want to reset it

between the lines from your English ...am I to understand that you have the log on screen where its asking for your password and not logging in with welcome screen at once ...to remove that you have to go to the control panel ...at the user accounts ..open it ...and click on the acount you use..not on the guest one ...after that click remove my pasword..
.and if you do not have a password..but that screen is still appearing even if you can log on after you hit enter ..without the password..just when you open the user account in the control panel ..instead of clicking on the user...click on the line that says change the way user log in .. ..click ..the line that says use the welcome screen ..and thats all..
If the password thing is not a full screen but a rectangular loging that asks for user and password..than you have to go to the local area connection (the 2 monitors in the task bar ) .. double click on it ..after that properties...and in that list with the protocols..you have to remove the NETWARE service ..by clicking on it ..and after that remove ..
this will allow you to change the way users log on from the panel like I explained above...

My hp laptop is lock it keep asking me my password

if it asks for a pasword after it boots up ...and before entering in the welcome screen of windows..it means that it has a user password made by you ..or someone else...and you will have to ask the one that made it ...or you need to reinstall the operation system and the password will be gone..
If it is made by mistake ..and it do not have a password try to hit enter and will log in ...In this case the welcome screen was replaced with the log in screen and this is the reason that makes this be displayed..
if it asks for a password and it is new..and the password is displayed when you want to install it ..you have to contact the seller or the manufacturer for the initial code..
also ..some laptops have a power on password and if you forgot it ..you will have to remove the bios battery so to make it "forgot it "

    If it's at bootup:

You need to temporarily remote the CMOS battery from the motherboard to reset the bootup password.

just use oph crack, use it to find a password/username then go to control panel, classic view in the top left corner, user accounts, "change the way you log on and off" then select the "welcome screen" option. if this happens still, you might be pressing a "lock" buttom to turn your pc off.
