Only white pages come out toner and drum are properly seated

    yes i have tried 2 different toners 1 new 1 almost new

    No they're not. Did you pull the tape on the toner cart.?

The only other thing I can think of is:

Make sure the metal springs that contact the drum are not bent over,

Brother HL30-40CN - Streaks down the every page


On my black and white toner printer I wiped the drum off with a rag and it solved the problem.

Copies come out blank.


several possibility of problem are:
- empty toner (you must check it)
- moist paper (solution = the copies which come out blank return to paper case, to use again. it is mean to use not moist paper)
- lifetime of the drum is over.

Kyocera FS_2020D. Problem is: Call service 7410:0006336


7410 is an error (all numbers following : is the number of pages printed.

- indicating the Drum Unit is not installed properly or you have a defective circuit board. Typically it is drum drum is not fully seated.

If you open the door on the left hand side of the printer, where your waste toner container goes and press firmly on the drum which is located behind the waste toner container and close the printer backup. If the drum is properly seated the error should close.

If you open the door on the left hand side of the printer, where your waste toner container goes and press firmaly on the drum which is loacted behind the waste toner container and close the printer backup. If the drum is properly seated the error should close.

I replaced the drum and toner recently, yet half of my pages are faded when they print. It seems to be on the left side of the pages that are faded. Any suggestions


The toner section may not be seated properly in the drum unit. Try removing the toner section and putting it back in the drum section being very careful to keep the cartridge in alignment with the drum.

Hi there i just replace the toner for my m5200 dell printer and the pages are coming really dark as if the pages are burnt.


Are you using Dell branded cartridges, or compatibles? I've seen issues with compatibles not properly seating when you install the toner cartridge, causing the cleaning blade to not properly wipe the drum (ghosting) or allowing too much toner on the drum (black pages, front and back). Re seating the cartridge should resolve.

HP 4550 Color Laser jet reports no "errors" yet does not print


HP 4550 Color Laserjet Printer - Blank or white pages :

01. Your software application is sending an extra page-eject command.

02. Check the software’s printing configuration information. There is a problem with the network configuration.

03. Some sharing devices on networks may generate a blank page as a separator.

04. Check with the network administrator.

05. The printer may be feeding two or more pages at once because the paper is difficult to separate.

06. The sealing tape has been left in the toner cartridge.

07. The toner cartridge is empty or defective.

08. The laser scanner door does not open properly.

09. Remove and reseat the toner cartridge.

10. Check the laser scanner shutter door for proper operation.

11. The toner cartridge guide is damaged,
improperly positioned, or missing.

12. There is no transfer roller voltage.

13. Perform the Half Self-Test Functional Check to check all other electrophotographic processes.

14. Replace the transfer roller if necessary.

15. The high-voltage connectors are mounted on the high-voltage power supply (HVPS) PCA and protrude into the toner cartridge cavity.

16. Check the springs for functionality. Clean if dirty; replace if defective or missing.
The HVPS PCA is defective.

17.The DC controller PCA is defecti  There is no drum ground path.

18 Check the drum ground.

19. The laser scanner cable assembly is defective

20 The page length and margins are not set correctly for the paper size. Verify that the ribbon connector at J1307 of the HVPS is

22. Verify that the photoconductive drum is rotating properly. Perform is the drum diagnostic test to visually observe if the drum is rotating.

24. moved. If the drum has not moved, investigate the mechanical
and electrical drum rotation circuitry and movement mechanisms.

25. The imaging drum shutter may not be retracting. Replace the imaging drum.

Replace the transfer belt. Known issue with this machine.

From the service manual:


Vertical lines or streaks
 Check for a leak where light might be entering the printer.
 Check for circumferential scars on the photosensitive drum. If scars are present, replace the
drum cartridge if the line goes through all colors.
 Check for circumferential scars on the upper fusing roller. If scars are present, replace the upper
fusing roller if the line goes through all colors.
 Remove the imaging drum and inspect main charger or imaging drum for a contaminant, such as
a fiber, if the line goes through all colors.
CAUTION Do not expose the imaging drum to light for more than 15 seconds. The drum is light sensitive, and
exposure to light can cause permanent damage.
Vertical black lines
 The toner cartridge is defective.
 The toner cartridge is not seated properly.
 The fuser entrance is dirty.
 The fuser has scratches on it.
 This might be a repetitive defect. If so, the lines will repeat at a consistent interval down the page.
 The printer needs to be cleaned.
 There is a problem in the heating element.
Vertical white lines
 If white lines or streaks appear only in the black areas of the printed media, print several
configuration pages to clear the anomaly. If this does not clear the problem, check the sleeve
surface to confirm the defect, then replace the black toner cartridge.
 If white lines appear only in a particular color, try printing several configuration pages to clear the
error. If the error does not clear, check the sleeve surface to confirm the defect, then replace the
defective toner cartridge.
 There is a lack of toner or the toner cartridge is faulty.
 There is dirt in the laser path.
 The fuser is defective.
 A mirror in the laser scanner is dirty.
