Bosch Power box radio PB10 radio wont work

I have the Bosch PB10 Radio powerboom box. I get power to the outlets on it. Worked grate for a year or two. But the radio will not power up. I have opened the box and looked at the circit board cant see anything that looks wrong. What should I do

This might sound daft but does radio work with a battery in it ?
