Misubishi WS-65613 Flashing green reset light

Misubishi WS-65613 has a continuous flashing green light. I am a former TV repair technictian and have the tools to fix the set with some recommendations. I assume I will need to secure a copy of Sams Photofacts.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Mitsubish WS55613, continuous flashing green light.

Tried reset, tried shutting down and powering up. Flashing light does not stop after 1 minute (despite what book says).

I am not a TV tech, but I am fearless and know how to replace the "3-prongie thing"...

    Would appreciate some direction.

Blinking Green Light from HELL!!!!!! Help!

Not a real mechanical kinda Dude, but I will give anything a shot to avoid getting screwed by a repair service. Mitsubishi should be ashamed of this quality issue and do something to correct. TV is only 2.5 yrs old....

You will not need SAMS on this one,Frank! I fixed four Mits. with
your symptom in the last two weeks.....parts = 1000mf/25v caps
105 degree hi-temp X 4.......Location = DM module...for pix's...
www.Chris@ChrisAndNat.com.....download copy..........

I have improved above procedure....When finished with repair of
PCB.,I place it secure in sockets , with two screws on end of
module back in place.THEN I slide cover down over module
and put the side screws in..........

Be gentle and if you need more help............T.

Mitsubishi WS-65613 tv green power light keeps blinking tv will not turn on

Unplug the unit for 5 minutes then plug it again. Turn it on. If it does not power up, press the SYSTEM RESET button on the front panel with a pointed object such as the point of a pencil or end tip of a paper clip. The green LED light will flash quickly for about a minute then stops. You may turn on the TV then. The changes you made most recently, before using
SYSTEM RESET, may be lost. Changes you made previously, however, are not lost.

Can't turn on the TV. Green light keeps blinking.

You need to change the four capacitors C9B01,C9B02,C9B10,C9B11 all 1000 MFD 16 VOLT (on the DM board which is inside the metal shield standing upright on the left looking from the back of the set)The tops of the capacitors will look puffed out making them easy to find. This is your HD tuner digital board which is trying to reboot but can't - when the green light stops blinking after a minute, than you can power on your TV.

do you have the service manual? also have you checked the diodes or protection fuses for the volts out of the loptr ( low output trans) , also check the volts on the trans for no volts , low volts , or voltage drop
let me know what tests and results you have , and if you dont have a schematic yet , this one should be about the same as yours , this is part 1 with 7 zip files http://www.eserviceinfo.com/downloadsm/31768/Mitsubishi_WS-55859.html

The constant blinking green light means that the TV is not booting up. This is a common problem on this set.You need to remove the shield from the DM board (standing upright on the left where the DTV RF connector is)and inside you will see the four leaky capacitors (1000 MFD 16 VOLT)replace them, plug the TV in and wait 70 seconds for the blinking light to stop, then turn on the TV.The hard part will be removing the board from the TV(lots of screws and connectors, takes time)

I can't turn on the TV.

I had the same problem. Unplugged it, reset it, everything. I went to work the next morning and left the light blinking, came home from work and it was off. I turned it on and so far, so good. Just give it some time to reset internally
