Samsung PS51D6900DM 51'' 3D Smart TV Model code : PS51D6900DMXXY Version No: N201 S/N ZRHT3MSB300003Y Logic board model No: 50DF/DS LOGIC MAIN Hi Guys, Hopefully someone can help me here. This TV is about 5-6 years old. About a year ago it just stopped working and wouldn't turn on. The red light on the front flashed. A few weeks back i decided to open up the TV and see if i could see any obvious faults.I noticed that the green light on the logic board was not flashing. When i inspected that board further i noticed the DC/DC converter chip was burnt. I found one on eBay and the part got here today. I fit the new Logic and tested the TV. It turned on and the Logic board led flashes green once per second. Only one problem. No Picture. Ive noticed that the TV is Buzzing around the Y board. Its hard to tell really. My main question is. Is this Logic board interchangeable between TV's. Does it need Programming to the rest of the components on the TV? Now that I've got the TV turning on what should i do next? Whats most likely to cause a black screen? Thanks so much in advance.
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

this is common issue with this model and through your troubleshooting is tied to y main board. blinking led on logic main in normal operation. when replacing y main always good idea to replace y upper and lowe buffer boards as they complete a circuit and sometimes replacing one without other could cause additional failure on remaining boards
Replacing main power supply to Plasma displays is not an easy job as you thinks. There are so many adjustments should be done after replacement. If you wish to get more details about these, check this link. Pull up older posts there. Details with illustrations can be seen there. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to
repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock!
Instead, contact any experienced service technician, or the nearest service
center.

Have you tried replacing the power cord or the voltage feed may be off replacing the whole cord should correct that
Testimonial: "If all the voltages are correct except the one on the VE, how can changing the power cord make a difference? The VA and VS on the power board are perfect."
