I see that the Canon Pixma 620 All-in-One can enlarge copies (under magnification), but can it reduce? If so, HOW?

Thank you. That was very helpful. I thought the Zoom feature was only for enlargement.

You can reduce or enlarge the copy using the same Magnification menu.

If for example you put 50% in zoom you will reduce the print to 50% of original size.

The printer can reduce or enlarge from 25% to 400%.

Please do not forget to leave feedback.

    Thanks.

How to reduce the size of a color copy?

You will want to press the MENU button on your printer until the Change Copy Settings item appears. You will then scroll through that menu using the left and right arrows on your menu panel until you see the ENLARGE/REDUCE menu choice. This will give you 3 choices to enlarge or reduce your copy. There are Preset Ratio, ZOOM, or Fit To Page.

Preset Ratio has 2 different sizes you can choose.
Zoom allows you to choose from 25% to 400%.
Fit To Page will automatically scan your image and then fir it to the size of page you have chosen to load into your printer.

If you haven't already done so you can go to the following webpage:
http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp210#BrochuresAndManuals
Choose the MP210 series On-screen Manual (Windows 7/7 x64/Vista/Vista64/XP/XP x64/2000), the actual link is called "mp210sosmwin110us.exe". Clicking on that link will allow you to download the file to your desktop. Then double-click the icon and your manual will automatically unpack and install itself. You will then see an icon on your desktop called MP210 series On-screen Manual. Double-click this to load the actual manual. Then choose User Guide. When the User Guide loads choose Changing the Copy Settings under the Copying heading on the left hand side. You can then see a detailed description of the information I gave you in this answer.

This should let you do your adjustment but if not please let us know. Thank you for the opportunity to assist you in resolving your issue.

Once the original is face down on the platen, push either the "Black" or "Color" button. You only need to use the menu system if you want to set various options -- paper size, enlarge/reduce, duplex, etc.

Reducing/enlarging on Canon MP 160

The only option I see that comes close to this is the "fit to page" option described on page 35 in the manual. Apparently, it detects the size of the original and enlarges it to fit on the paper size selected. Otherwise, I see no options for enlarging or reducing while copying.

Enlarging andf reducing on photocopiers

HI on the machine there should be a auto reduction enlarge all you need to do is press this place the original on the doc feeder and select the paper cassette in which the paper size you want the copy to be on. Once you have selected press the start button and then the reduction or enlargement is calculated for you.

Hope this helps and answers your question.

Thanks J
