Question about Black & Decker 19" Electric Lawnhog Mulching Mower with Rear Bag
I just bought a B&D CMM1200. Plugged it in to charge it the first time before I went to bed and had no problems. Red LED came on and the next morning the green light was on. Used it to mow the lawn - worked great and I was absolutely thrilled with how well it handled even the really tall grass and weeds. Plugged it back into the charger when I was done and the neither of the LEDs come on. I know the outlet is working and I didn't force the charger plug in (i.e. it's not upside down). I lifted the handle and noticed that when I do that the red LED lights up, but goes out as soon as I let go of the handle.
Checking the B&D website it says if the LEDs don't come on I need to take it into a service center.
If I have to I'll just take it back to the place I bought it and return/exchange it.
Any ideas before I do that?
Possibly the handle must e folder for it to charge. Possibly the on/off switch was on. More than likely it must be off to charge. Sorry that is all I can offer without seeing the mower in person.
