The plastic bracket that acts like a hinge on the washer cover broke. It is the part that is attached to the machine top not the piece that attached to the cover. I have ordered a replacement part but want to know how the top cover comes off so as to replace the bracket. The bracket attaches from under top cover and I don't want to brake any parts getting it off.

Bought a used NAV2335AAW washer from a friend, like-new quality. My ******** brother-in-law put in a load (didn't overload it) and it stopped part of the way through the cycle. We thought it was maybe off-balance and adjusted the load. Still no re-start. Played with the dials a bit, increased the load size and it started to re-fill. Then it stopped again. Played with the dials, hit the reset and it started to fill again while on rinse. Had to hold it in-place for that. When I let go, it stopped again. Now it's not doing anything at all. We unplugged it, let it sit, reset it and prayed. Nothing has worked. This washer is a replacement for the last one that broke two weeks ago. We really can't afford another right now. Help!
