Email signature not coming out right when replying to email.

Hi.I have set up my signatures in Outlook 2007 which include colour text and hyperlinks. If I click 'new mail' the signature displays correctly but if I reply to an email it is displayed in black default font only with no hyperlinks.Any ideas on how I can correct this as it is annoying creating a new mail each time and copying and pasting the address and content. Thanks in advance.Phill.

Thanks patemi. You got me in the right direction and I was able to sort it via the options setting / mail format.
However it still wasn't showing hyperlinks when replying but I changed the recipient to myself and sent it to myself and when received it showed the hyperlinks!
I know I'm doing something wrong but it's working anyway!
Thanks for the help. It's nice to find a site that it's not just me doing all the answering and get help when I need it to.

    Phill.

Check if you select to answer messages using same format as received mail: if so your sig will be moved to plain text format.
same if set replay always in plain text
that's the reason why you can select a different sig when setting for new or return mail.

The internet email account area should provide the options including typesrcitpt adjustment, format, fonts and several functions available to create your signature. 4. using the keypad area of the phone ocne at the signature area provided by the email acount login, customise the signature of choice.
Remember that signatures identify the sender of messages sent on to another person by email messages. You can only set the signature by first signing into the email your email account. The features of the email including creating an account, aslo provides the options on which to engrave a unique signature to identify the sender of emails on a network. Outlook 2003 I want name at end of email

You can do that when you set up your signature and it is in HTML. To set up HTML format on all emails, go to Tools -> options -> Mail format and on "Send this message format" make sure that HTML is selected.

For the signature, on the same Mail format tab, select the signature and select the file or make your signature on the same window. In making your signature without using Outlook, you can use MS WORD and save it as a web page/web page filtered and have the file selected when choosing your signature in Outlook.

Why can't I see My Mail Signature - or the toolbar - on my browser?

If you have downloaded My Mail Signature and are not seeing the My Signature button or the toolbar on your browser, you may need to enable the toolbar through your browser's menu. To do this:
1) Click on the "View" menu option.
2) Select "Toolbars".
3) You will see either "My Web Search" or "My Way Search" listed in the dropdown - make sure that there is a check mark next to it. If there is no check mark, click on the toolbar name in order to enable it.

If the toolbar DOES have a check mark but is not visible on your browser, clear the check mark by clicking on the name of the toolbar. Then repeat the steps above to re-enable it. The toolbar should now appear.

Not sure why that happens. Try adding another blank line before the signature. If you use a different signature often, you should create another signature and insert that into the messages you want with the different information. You can have multiple signatures loaded.

Create personal signature and save as file

If you are talking about using Outlook as your email client, then here is the directions for creating a signature.

  1. From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
  2. In the Compose in this message format list, click the message format that you want to use the signature with.
  3. Under Signature, click Signatures, and then click New.
  4. In the Enter a name for your new signature box, enter a name.
  5. Under Choose how to create your signature, select the option you want.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Signature text box, type the text you want to include in the signature. You can also paste text to this box from another document.
  8. To change the paragraph or font format, select the text, click Font or Paragraph, and then select the options you want. These options are not available if you use plain text as your message format.
  9. To add an electronic business card — vCard — to the signature, under vCard options, select a vCard from the list, or click New vCard from Contact.
  10. Click Finish when you are done editing the new signature.

Outlook 2007 would like to get rid of default account

Try this:

Create a "fake" email account that has an invalid username/password to a (real) SMTP server (Outlook requires that the SMTP server is real). And then set that as yourdefault account.

Now, whenever you accidentally forget to select the correct account, the default is selected and the message will try to send through the invalid account and pop up an error message. You can then go into the Outbox, select the right account, and re-send.
