You need a new one....adaptor that is.

Say the device you want to sync your keyboard to is an I pad.
Follow the I pad's normal Bluetooth pairing procedure. Around the same time, slide the switch on the back of the ip2101 from OFF to ON and then press the black button to the left of that switch. When the I pad recognizes the ip2101 keyboard, the I pad will display a pin number and instructions to type that pin number on the ip2101 keyboard and hit the enter key on the ip2101.

If another ipod works on the ihome, your ipod has a prob.
If your ipod works on another ihome, the ihome has a prob.

there is a double jack wire that should have come with your ihome plug one end ito your zen head phone hole and the other end in the back of your i home thats how mine works idk about yours but it should work the same for all ihomes

Did you try removing the batteries and connecting only the adapter ? If the time is still displayed, then your adapter is still good.
