Bought Weber grill Dec 2017. Replaced regulator July 2017. It seems the regulator has failed again. I have tried 3 different tanks. When I turn on burners 2 and 3 the gas flow reduces substantially.

Check there is not a blockage in the line . Or get on to Weber and ask them if there is a problem with this model .

SOURCE: low flame on burner...

Remove the burner and check the flexible tubes for kinks or blockages. The flexible tubes usually just slip over the backs of the valves. Spiders love to get in there and block them. Also check that the holes in the burners are not clogged. Be careful when reseating the flexible tubes to be sure that they are properly seated on the back of the valves. Failure to properly seat the flexible tubes can cause leakage there, and the gas can ignite at the back of the valves and not reach the burner. Be certain that the replacement burner is designed to use with your grill and the flexible tubes mate properly with the back of the valves.

SOURCE: cannot get good flame on the burner of my baby weber grill. I've tried cleaning it checked hose, tank, regulator, seems to have good flow, but low flame only, even when set in high????????

I had this problem with a brand new grill so it wasn't grease in the hose. Due to the new propane regulators you have to turn the propane tank on for at least a minute before turning the grill to light. Let the tank sit in the light position for five seconds and then you light the grill. This will keep air from getting into the intake hose and will keep your gas flame roaring high.

I was only able to get the grill up to 250 degrees before I found this fix posted on the Weber site. It is listed as the number one solution in the FAQ section.

SOURCE: can not light gas grill - Weber 8006 Have done all

Assuming that you have fuel and spark, check the following.
Mine did this, it was spiders, web and egg debris in the air inlet tube. It does not take much dirt to kill the ignition process.
If you have the perforated and hinged black plastic air inlet covers open them up and clean out the dirt. Reinstall the covers when done.

Just bought a new Weber gas grill E320. Used several times and now all of a sudden the grill will not light. Ignitor seems fine just no gas.

1. Turn the tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first & turn it to HIGH.
Did the burner light and the fa,e height look correct? If so, light the remaining burner exactly
the same way. Now, do all the flame heights look correct? If so, you solved the problem.
Always remember to turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

If the above didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly, as the regulator is locked up. You can pick one up from any home center or hardware store that sell grills and accessories for about $30.00. Take your old one with you for comparison purposes.

I hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem, Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

I just bought a new tank of gas. The problem is that the flame now only lasts a few seconds. I've tried reconnecting the gas but this has not worked. Any suggestions would be great.

When you turn the tank valve on, do it VERY, VERY SLOWLY. But, first, disconnect the grill hose from the tank, after you have turned the tank OFF. Leave it disconnected for 5 minutes, reconnect it to the tank and turn the tank valve on, as described above. Light each burner separately and turn it to the highest flame setting, before lighting the next burner and so on.

With any luck, this reset the grill hose regulator. If it did, remember to turn the tank on VERY, VERY SLOWLY,after it has been shut off.

If it didn't solve the problem the first time, do it again. Then if that fails, you need a new grill hose and regulator. Which, you can purchase at Lowe's or Home Depot. Just take your existing hose and regulator with you, so that you'll get the right length and size. It's ok for the new one to be a little longer, but not shorter.

Hope this helped to get you up and grilling again.

I have a 1 gal tank for starting charcoal. I don't

Find a local business that sells Weber grills or try the place you bought it from, and see if they have replacement parts. One thing you can try before doing that is this: Some hoses have an excess flow built-in to the hose end. If you open the valve too fast it checks it so no gas comes out. Close the valve again, wait a minute and then open it very slowly and see if that makes a difference.

Our weber grill is suddenly getting too hot... even with only 1 of the 3 burners turned on it is over 400 degrees... any ideas?

Sounds like the regulator is not controlling the flow of gas. Try this. 1. Turn gas tank and burner control knobs off. 2. Turn tank valve on VERY slow. 3. Open front burner knob on and lite grill. Wait a minute and turn on addition burners, (if needed).

My weber gas grill will not heat up past 300F

Hi John,

I just experienced the same exact problem ! I just bought a brand new Weber E-310 a 3 burner grill.
After I seasoned it up with cooking oil,I turned all the burners to high, opened the tank and clicked electrnic button several times , the grill was on then I went inside, I came out about an half-hour later and it was saying around 275 degrees..
I looked into my manual and there is a gas limit control valve that shuts down gas flow, when it thinks there is too much gas flow.

Sloution;
Turn the propane gas knob to off
Turn the gas grill knobs to Off.
Click the igniter several times to clear out any gas.
Then unscrew the regulator from the tank,( I then blew into the tank hole and regulator),
Screw back on the regulator to the propane tank.
I then clicked igniter again couple of times.
Now open your propane tank.
Then turn on front burner while clicking igniter, this will lite 1st burner.
Then turn 2nd burner on low then to high.
And if you have 3rd burner or more, turn low then to high!

John I did this and my grill went to 600 plus in a few minutes!!

The problem was turning the gas grill knobs on first then opening the tank then lighting...
You have to open propane tank with knobs off, THEN AS SOON AS YOU TURN ON 1ST KNOB, YOU MUST IGNITE ...
