Question about Garden
I have a craftsman pushmower with a Honda easystart engine. I was away on vacation for two weeks so the mower wasn't used (and the lawn wasn't cut). Upon returning I set the blade to the highest cut level (because the lawn was higher than normal). The mower cut fine. After finishing, I turned the mower on its side (as I always do) to clean out the underside of grass. When I turned the mower back up, I noticed a gas leak by the airfilter. It's a steady leak and it did empty the tank. Any suggestions?
Sounds like you tilted the unit enough to cause the float in the carb to open too much and therefore, the needle valve inside is stuck.
Remove the bowl and let it resit itself and then re install the bowl. If that doesn't work you may need to purchase a new kit for the carb to get the needle valve. If you find a small minut ring around the face of the needle valve replace it. That's why it's gonna leak. Good luck
