Question about Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Receiver
After having my Garmin 350 up dated by the selling store, I have a real problem. The Volume is about half of what it was, and it was not to loud in the first place.
In heavy traffic, it is almost impossible to hear it. We have to rely on the white arrow, and it is not convenient at all.
Would you please tell me what is the problem, and how it could be remediated.
Thank you for your cooperation
The firmware & voice updates have lowered the volume level. The reason for this is because this unit has a history of the speaker failures due to speaker being over driven.
The voice files can be modified to restore the audio levels. I've done it. However, you take the risk that the speaker may be over driven.
You can also buy a FM transmitter and plug it into the Nuvi's headphone jack and listen to voice directions/music through your car stereo.
