Why the Alert Filter light keep flashing after changing the filter?

you need to power on reset

so you need to full defrost it for a few days door open
clean it all !! all frost ways etc
check and service with oil all the fans bearings
in behind the freezer compartment
then clean the evoporator drain ways and pipes
then dress the flow trays and tubes with salt
add salt too the evaporator tray
check the thermal fuse on any heating elements and the elements are working using an ohm meter to measure they are good and resistive

if the filter gets badly blocked up then a fuse or sensor issue like this can happen as the fans stuggle to make pace
so once your happy
hold in the fast freeze button and power on the mains
it should beep one long two short
close all the door and leave it too run
make sure the air travel at the rear has atleast 5" gap and good air flow thru
wait twenty mins
open the freezer
you should have rolling gasses
and no errors
if it beeps problems
then the sensor associated with the filter detection also has an issue
but usually a good defrost and cycle and clean out etc etc works

I have power going to the machine and the red light near "end of cycle" is on. When we press the power button, we get nothing. We have done the press and release testing and everything lights up green

check the thermal fuseunplug the dryer, remove the lint filter, pop off the bottom panel, remove the metal duct that the lint filter slides down into,on the top of the blower wheel housing and to the right you'll find the thermal fuse, your model number doesn't come up so the common fuse is 3392519,this fuse pops from the dryer running to hot, usually from the dryer not getting cleaned out, this should be done once a year, clean out the metal duct that the lint filter slides into, vac up and blow out the cabinet where the motor is and blow out the vent line with a leaf blower.if you don't do this the fuse will pop again until the dryer is cleaned, also check to see if the belt broke, some of these dryers have a belt switch,if the belt breakes the dryr won't start, and the first thing to check is the door switch,if that's bad the dryer won't run, open the door and push the switch or buton in and out,it should make a clicking sound,if not the switch is bad, send the model number off of the dryer and let me know what you find.

Why doesn't the fan engage? The filters are perfectly clean and it receives power

See if the motor is bound up. Move the fan blade to check for stiffness. The motor may just need a drop of oil. There is an internal fuse in the motor that you cannot change It may have opened. If you have access to a volt meter check all the wires on the power switch

our tv set need to be serviced. Here are some tips:
1. Open main fuse. The fuse is clean but interrupted. You can try replacing it with one o the same value.
2. Fuse Blown or blackened. Short in the rectifier bridge or in the switching transistor. Out of the power supply: supply line rectifier (100/150V) shorted.

I have an LG WM2277HW washing machine. My wife went in this morning to do some laundry and the thing is completely dead. No lights or signs of life. I checked the house circuit and the power to the...

Make sure the noise filter connectors are clean and connected properly. Get yourself a multimeter and check the voltage both on the load side and line side of the noise filter. It should read the same at 120VAC. The noise filter is the board before the main board. Replace it if the voltages on its load and line side are not the same.

The main board is not serviceable and must be replaced if faulty. It has a fuse and if it is blown, the main board is probably faulty. Look at the two brown capacitors on the top left of the main board. Next to it is a heat sink and to its right is a white "fuse-like" component with silver ends. That is the main board fuse. If it is blown, disconnect all the connectors from the main board except the one connecting it to the noise filter. Jump a single thin strand of wire in place of the fuse and apply power to the machine. Check if the power LED indicator on the main board lights up. If it does not, the main board is dead, replace it.

Please do not hesitate to update me about your findings above for further guidance if necessary.

Kenmore 110 74842400 runs but no heat ignitor does not glow ,I haven't checked to see if ignitor is getting power If it is am I looking at a heater relay?

check the thermal fuse 3392519 located on the blower wheel housing,if the dryer hasn't had a clean out and lint is everywhere most likely it will be the fuse, check it with a meter, pull one of the wires off and read it out, your model number shows the filter on top so unplug the dryer, pull out the filter, take out the two screws on top where you pulled out the filter, take the vent line off and take off the back panel,on the left you'll see the duct that the filter slides into, take out the four screws holding it in and clean the duct out, when you put it back on look to the right and down around 4 inches up off the floor and you'll see the white thermal fuse, read it out,if that's good then you gotta make sure you're getting power to the ignitor, and read out the ignitor, the sensor and the gas coils, hope this helps, you don't have a heater relay on this model

Hoover just cut out while we were vacuuming the floor, no power, is there an internal fuse somewhere?

No. there is a thermal fuse that will reset after the motor cools down. Check for blockage and clean filters and clean the cone assembly for proper air flow.

Electrolux vacuum cleaner z4703 doesn't start

HI It could be the a number of issues.
The actual power switch could be at fault and needs replaced which has to be done by an official repairer.
OR if the vacuum cut out initially wait for a day and then try it again.
Also if the filters have been cleaned check that there is no dirt stopping the motor from coming on i.e. check the beater bar (remove the hood if neccessary) and check the drive belt is intact, also check all tubes to see there is no clogging.
If you have cleaned the filters you need to make sure they are dry rather than damp to wet as water seeping into a motor is very dangerous.
