    Hi Poohawk

I pulled out the one memory card and re-set it. Needed to push the power button for 10+ seconds, and she came back! Thanks for your help!

My laptop was shut down normally a few days ago. Now when I went to turn it on it appeared dead. Plugged it in, thinking it was a battery or power issue with no luck. Don't know where to go from here.

Try removing the memory and hard drive. Replace just one memory module and see if it comes up. If it does, replace the hard drive and bring it up. If that works, try replacing the other memory module.
If it doesn't, get back to me for more ideas.

Power light comes on,but no video, fan runs for a few seconds then turns off does not boot, what's up?

First, remove the battery and unplug the ac adapter then press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds to drain power from the laptop. Remove any external usb device or flash cards inserted in the computer.

Set aside the battery for the meantime and connect the ac adapter. Now turn the laptop on and see if it powers up. If it powers up, then you resolved the issue but if it doesn't, then you might have an LCD or Motherboard failure

Charge isn't consistent. Orange light flashes instead of remaining on when charging.

Are you using the original ac power adapter, or one that is designed for use with your model to ensure that it is fitting tightly where it plugs into the laptop at the dc jack?
If so, the dc jack could be broken, which could prevent the battery from charging properly, resulting in the flashing amber light, which is indicating that the battery is still low and needs recharging.
Another possibility is that the battery is defective, but the more likely problem is the dc jack since it is such a common problem.
You can find a replacement dc jack here.
Good luck, please let me know if it helps.

The pc not turn on, no power

It might be an issue with the adapter, the battery or the AC jack on the motherboard. First up see if your AC adapter's power LED comes on when plugged into a power source. If it does, then check if the Lights at the front of the laptop indicate that the adpater is plugged in. If they light up then it means that the laptop's battery is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the lights dont light up then it means that the AC adapter jack on the laptop has bad solder joints and/or damaged. It is located at the underside of the motherboard where the AC adapter is plugged in. You will need to take the laptop apart and re-solder/replace the jack.

Let me know if you need more help,
