Question about Philips 47PFL7403D 47 in. LCD TV
Some of my movies jump when watching them through my usb port. Others, run smooth as butter. Any suggestions on the format that will allow all movies to run smoothly? Is there an upgrade I can give the tv so everything runs smoothly?
I have tried movies on a usb stick and on my usb 120g hard drive.
Same movies skip on both and same ones are smooth.
Skip=movie plays, but does not play cleanly, sounds good, looks horrible. The movies on my PC work though.
I would advise knocking down the resolution. Try and use software, like red kawa, to convert a few of your movies to different formats till you find a decent one. A widely accepted codec setup is Divx/XVid (both are the same) and MP3 sound.
