Before buying the machine always confirm the Opeating system(windows) is in ENGLISH version.

Or else you can install the ENG version OS later. For getting new OS you need to pay for license.

So there is no need to throw the device.

Users manual for fd 880

I have had the misfortune to have owned that very model & make of radio. The manual that came with it was written in CHINGLISH, which made it quite hard to decipher into our English, these units are mass produced in China, and in there lies the main problem.

There is very little backup service available in a language we can truly understand and the warranty is useless outside of China.

The unit I had began failing after 3 months, and eventually became unuseable, so I learnt my lesson and refuse to buy anything made in china.

unless someone else reading this post can help you with a link to download the manual, I'm afraid there's not much else I can do for you. I suggest that you spend between $150.00 - $300.00 for a more reliable brand manufacture in any other country than China, such as USA, UK, NZ, Germany, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, just to name a few. ebay is a great site to purchase great brands at a reasonable price, but stay clear of the mass produced Chinese made radios.

They shut off when keys are micd k7gem1000

Hi Brian,

Yes they bear the Motorola brand, but look for where they were made and you'll find CHINA.

These are made en-mass under license for a fixed price and of DUDIOUS standard, firstly like any radio made in China, they eat batteries if they are hand held, Oricom is another terible brand both HH and base versions.

Support is availabe if you speak the language, manuals are available in CHINGLISH, and problems with Chinese made radios continue to fill sites like this, looking for help.

I too got stung with chinese made monsters, I was stupid enough to buy three different brands and within 3 months of working them, they began to fail, and the warranty is useless outside of China.

Sorry, Brian but you like myself have a lemon.

Best advice, do as I did, spend a few extra dollars on ebay and buy well known brands made anywher but China.

How to learn Chinese idioms and understand them?

Hey~Friend, don't worry, you have already been excellent, because Chinese idiom is senior chapter
about learn Chinese,It's very difficult and complex to understand for foreign students, some of Chinese people
don't understand whole Chinese idioms perfectly as well, I give you some opinions.

First, you should read lots representative stories of China, there are many idioms inside it, and you 'll direct at one of
idioms that try to guess their meanings from the context.

Second, you can buy the idiom universal lexicon in order to refer clearly,if feel learned in tired by yourself, you might
also seek a professional Chinese school for your learning. How to seek better one? search google,or I
suggest you join the Mandarin Garden school, they're the biggest one in Shanghai, and have many branches in China
and even in the world,I trust you learn over there will become efficient.

Which is the best chinese mobile phone

I wouldn't buy any chinese phones, they are all made lowcost as possible, so they are not too durable. Altought, they are cheap, I wouldn't recoment any more expensivier chinese electronics. Just save up some more money, and buy brande phone.
And also, when something broke, you must send it to China for your own expenses. So, I do NOT recomment tobuying phone from China.

Getting a Disc Error when trying to play a Chinese DVD

For starters, the Chinese have a totally different set of coding than most anyone else. So you would most likely actually have to buy a dvd player out of China to read it. Otherwise, get teh right codec's for your computer to play it on a dvd rom drive for the computer. Im sorry that this may not be what you are looking for, but ive learned from buying a lot of foreign movies, that you most often have to buy the playing equipment also from the country to play it.
