check the inner hood for over spray.

Liquea gasolina por la parte superior del tanque de gasolina dodge durango 2005 motor 3.7

follow the steps for fix it. God bless you
    • 1 Drive until your gas tank is nearly empty, ideally until the fuel level is below the gas tank leak, if possible. You can determine this by routinely stopping and checking for oil leaks. If oil is still leaking, the gas tank is still filled above the leak. Use brake cleaner to clear 6 to 8 inches around the leak. Wear gloves and protective glasses while you work. Do not let your gas tank completely empty before you perform repairs.
    • 2 Use a scraper and sandpaper to remove road tar, rust or grime around the leak. Use brake cleaner on the area again and allow it to dry
    • 3 Remove the epoxy from its packaging, taking the same amount from both sticks. Mix the epoxy together, massaging it between your fingers until it is the same color.
    • 4 Form epoxy into a cone shape and push it into the hole or leaky area. Use a plastic spreader to smooth the remaining epoxy into place. Allow the epoxy to completely cure. If the leaking problem persists, take the car in for professional repairs.

Is there a picture of part placement? gas is leaking

Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Make sure that none of the lines have been replaced with plastic--use only the original rubber type. Check the carburetor fasteners for tightness. If the fuel seems to leaking from the case, you may have a cracked tank. If so, replace the tank as no glue or epoxy will provide a permanent repair. Check the fuel filter, air cleaner and muffler for plugging. Good luck!

My two part gas tank leaks what do i use to seal it with

If the tanks are plastic, the best fix is to replace them. Most epoxies, silicon, and other glue bases don't bond well with plastic and the vibration of the running saw doesn't help the repair either. Hope this helps!

I have a leak in my windshield washer resevoir.

if you can see the hole they have epoxies that can repair the leak. some come with a fiberglass tape that you put into the epoxy to give it strength. check with your local auto parts store.

Leaking gas tank

Assume you damaged the gas tank. If you broke a line or filler neck this won't work.

Raise vehicle (safely) and clean tank - careful not to spark - NO GRINDING. I use regular sand paper. Find the hole - sometimes takes a bit of looking. If small, here is an old trick: rub the corner of a bar of soap over the leak and if done correctly, it will stop the leak (no, you're not done). Clean the area around the leak a little better - still careful of sparks. Get some epoxy that will stick to metal wet with gas (from AutoZone). Seal the hole with this epoxy and you should be good. Work quickly - the working time of the epoxy is less than they say it is.

good luck.
