Question about Washing Machines
I have a hotpoint ultima wma76 and last night it just stopped mid cycle. It is full of water and won't empty or rinse. I managed to turn it off at the mains then restart it with just a spin cycle and it made lots of clunking noises, filled up with a bit more water and aggitated but then stopped again.
Have turned it off and on many times trying different cycles but nothing at all is happening now
I think I answered one like this the other day...verify this before doing it....does your washer have a dial or a computer panel?
If it's a dial, then remove it and checker the disc underneath it, if it has some "teeth" missing, then it would be the timer that needs to be replaced, very simple to fix.
If it is a computer panel, you will need a repairman to help you with that, he may prefer to do it alone?? LOL
