OK guys I'll save you. The tv is in hotel mode. To get it out from there you have to go in service menu but DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER THING IN THERE, only what i tell you. With the tv on and the K letter on the screen press in the same time vol- and ch- on the tv set. Now you'll be in service mode. On the remote press down arrow (not -channel) and you'll see up industry init. go there with ch- and press vol+ and enter. let the tv like that for few seconds and the tv will go green and hopefully industry init succsesfull will be on the screen. After that unplug the tv and replug it. Done!

The condition of your TV called power supply overcurrent shutdown that"s why you hear a click. The TV is going into a protection mode to prevent further circuit damage. That's why it will not turn on or not powering up. I would concentrate on the power supply section board. Bad regulation of the incoming voltage could caused this issue although, there is a capacitor across the incoming line and nuetral.Maybe its leak or dry up and cause the problems, change it out with one of identical rating . Although now you are getting into dangerous area, especially if you have no electronic experience background. It could be also be a loose ,crack or cold solder joint,a blown fuse, fusible links or other component .It could be one of several boards.Unfortunately the level of sophistication on these TV make it virtually impossible to diagnose them further without taking them apart and probing around with a multimeter and other tools. This TV is handy enough to take to a repair shop find a good one.You will probably have to pay $75 to $100....
Hope this may help you..

It's a power supply related problem. When it turns itself off, this it called protection mode. The TV automatically turns off to protect other parts form being damaged.
The most common problem is the Power Supply Unit or the Backlight Inverter Board.
You may have to take the TV to a repair shop to find out which one is bad. Paying a repair shop to replace the board for you maybe more than the TV is worth. If you let them diagnose it and you replace the bad circuit board yourself, it would be cheaper.
Here's a place I use to get parts for TVs:

The problem is the repair shop may charge you double or three times of what the part costs at the web site link above. Then, plus labor. I just want to save you money. :)

Sound like the TV is in protection mode. This happens when a part goes bad inside. the TV turns OFF to protect the other parts from being damaged.
Most commonly it's a power supply related issue. A bad capacitor or transformer on the power supply board is to blame.
For a do-it-yourself fixer with electronic experience, a Service Manual is the best for trouble shooting the problem down to the bad part. Normally, you can find it over the internet for less than $20.
