My 2 Samsung mobiles acknowledge the presence of a 4Gb MicrosSDHC but will not allow me to use it!!!!!! I've emailed Samsung for clarification about SDHC compatibility issues and await their response with interest.

My phones are a D600 and an E250.

Anything over 2gb is a micro sdhc the hc means high capacity so for most phones 2gb is the most you can go thats why the 1gb works and not the 4.

Same thing. WTF?

your main problem, is that your phone only supports up to a two GB. micro SD card, it does not come know how to read it, and there is NO software up date to fix that, just buy a 2 GB and you will be fine

your micro SD card may be damaged in some small way, or the card reader is a defect in it, to see which one it is,
****TRY TO BUY ANOTHER SD card, your phone can support up to a 2 GB micro SD card, if it persists, then *********** board in the phone has a defect.
