How to reconnect the copper cables in braun sonic

I have replaced the batteries in my braun sonic complete toothbrush, but the connection died and I had to open up again. Now the fine copper cables have come adrift from their soldered connections. Does anyone know which cable goes where?

If you look closely, it doesn't much matter, because they are all twisted together when it is reassembled. Mine had two on the center and one on each end.

Is there any place I can send my toothbrush for repairs?

Braun is the market leader in eclectic toothbrushes and have service centres. I bought a Colgate Spinbrush which was less that $20 CDN. I also use a disposable Sonic toothbrush which has about $6 CDN. I would jump ship and buy new.

Philips service for the UK are here with links to worldwide.

My Oral-B Sonic Complete stops working afer 2x use despite being on the charger always.

These toothbrushes need to be completely discharged every six months or so to keep the battery fresh. Maybe the battery has packed in.
Take it out of the charger and turn it on till it stops completely then re-charge. It might kick start the battery.

My Braun shaver 8585 has died. Foil, cable, box, Clean and charge unit as new. Which Braun shaver replaces Braun 8585 and can utilise good pieces?

If I understand correctly, the shaver is dead but all other components are in good condition. If this is the case, you should consider ordering a replacement lower unit. See shaveroutlet.com link below

http://shaveroutlet.com/braun-8585-activator-lower-unit-p-364.html

Newer models made by Braun do not use all the same parts as your shaver so this would be a good way to go

My Braun Oral-B Sonic Complete Toothbrush wont hold a charge

I had the same problem today. I use the charging plug which has the "wrench" remove the bottom screw...I was attempting to remove the battery to reset the brush. I could not get the bottom of the brush off as I did not want to use a screw driver or similar to pry it off in case I needed to return the brush.

So I was trying to pull the bottom off and my finger was on the on/off switch, as I was wiggling the bottom of the brush to try to dislodge the battery it started working.

The brush seems to have a reset button on the back but that did not do anything. The display also has moisture trapped inside it, which I am sure is not good!

Any way try this and maybe the battery will come out and I am sure that will reset the brush...if not maybe you will get lucky as I did and wiggling it will work. BTW, this is with the Oral-B Triumph Professionla Care 9000

Braun Toothbrush repair?

Hi,
I've just opened up and remounted my Braun toothbrush, an Oral-B model I think.
Your description corresponds.
Order for re-mounting:
Coil, rubber/soft washer, hard washer, spring, ...
The spring has no electrical use: I think it is just used to keep pressure on the washer and improve seal-ness.
The coil has 2 electrical ends, which connect to each (narrow) sides of the small PCB. One of the connections happens to touch the battery holder.

I wanted to replace the battery, but gave up as the battery seems so hard to remove: I don't see how to replace it without destroying everything.
Also, the format is larger than an AA.
Any idea?
