Question about Jeep AM/FM Cassette with CD Changer Controls - Upgrade Swap
I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 10 CD Changer in back of Jeep. sometimes it works fine Sometimes it will be working then start skipping really bad. Sometimes it won't work at all and give me err message for every CD. Sometimes it will work on certain CD's (numbers 3 or 4 but give me err message on other numbers/CD's Most all CD's used are store bought. Is there an easy inexpensive fix?
I had a similar problem which responded to the use of a CD cleaner disc to clean the laser lens reading the CD. The "err" messages stopped and the changer started to work as it had before. Perhaps this will correct your problem too.
