Door will open with wall button or remote, but will not close unless wall button is held throughout entire closing process. Can't find my manual. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The sensors on the side of the door either are not functioning properly or there is an obstruction in their path. So for the door to close you have to hold the button till it goes all the way down - otherwise it will reverse it and go back up - that is what is happening, right? When they are working properly in a dark area you will see one of them lite up slightly and if you put your hand in front of it to block it, the light should go out. If not working like this the control board may be fubar.

The projector keeps turning off the screen image but not powering down

The projector has a feature that keeps the screen dark when there is no slide in the projection gate. The light is blocked, but not turned off. There is a latch on the slide of the shutter that controls when it opens (slide in the gate) and when it remains closed (no slide in the gate). It sounds like the latch on the side of the dark shutter needs adjustment. Here is the website where you can get the adjustment procedure. http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-locale=en_US&pq-path=6499

Have a brand new TE-2200. The machine hung up in the middle of programming and would not allow a reset. I unplugged it from the wall and removed the backup batteries in an attempt to reboot. After...

Firstly, try this:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode Turn power off at wall Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep holding it Turn power on at wall. Wait 10 seconds Let go of receipt feed. Press SUBTOTAL once
If display does not come on,
Turn power off at wall Turn key to REG mode Take one battery out. Wait at least an hour. Turn power back on at wall (you will now need to fully reprogram it at this stage)
If it is still dead, let me know

One of the photo sensors in not working (No green Light). The garage door will go up... but not down unless you depress & hold the "button". I have removed & re-connected the photo sensor...

To my knowledge, the opener will not work without the sensors. They are there for the safety of anyone or pet that might wander under the door while it is in motion. They also will stop the door if there is an object in the path - if it is more than 6" in height.

The most common reason that the green light is off is that the two sensors aren't aligned with each other. One sensor sends out a light beam that the other receives; the completed circuit is made by that line of light not being broken. The sender has an amber light.

Try moving the sensor up/down or forward and back unitl the light comes on. Check both sensors. I've often seen them get out of alignment if someone bumps into them when trying to walk out the door around a vehicle. If you still don't get the circuit, check if the control wires are undamaged and properly connected to the opened. These are usually the white and white/black wires and could be damaged at the staples that keep the wires against the wall and ceiling.

I hope this helps.

Tomtom1 keeps restarting itself

try resetting it, if that doesnt work, connect your unit to tomtom home. if you dont have tomtom home, follow the link at the bottom.

To reset your TomTom device, do the following:
  1. Check that the battery is charged properly.
Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.

  2. Remove the SD card
If your device uses an SD card, remove it.

  3. Reset your device.
Use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to push the reset button for 15 seconds. See the pictures below for where to find the reset button.

  4. Turn your device on.
Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds.

  5. Insert the SD card
If your device uses an SD card, insert the SD card.

Engine error code P03000

P0300 is a general code for "multiple engine missfires". This can be caused by several things. Since it is stalling and "dieseling" (noisy engine) after you come to a stop it sounds like the ignition system is shutting down for some reason. (dieseling requires fuel but not spark) Have shop check for cam and crank sensers, coil pack, and PCM. If he gets a P0000 code ever it will need a PCM and reprogram. It can be a bunchof other items as well but this is the most likely path I would take.
