If the humidity is high then there can be some water nut too much water indicates the the condensate drain is blocked or partially blocked.

Washing machine will not drain or spin out the code is f21

On some Kenmore machines an f21 code indicates a "Long Drain". It is taking too long for the water to drain from the washer. This is normally caused by a clogged filter in the pump assembly. On the front loaders the filter is behind the bottom cover below the door. The filter cover unscrews from the pump, and if your washer is holding water, the water will run out on the floor when the filter cover is removed.

15,000 BTU, Parts are still available.
Unknown date(s) of manufacture but Sears (Kenmore) does have similar (exact matches) models still in production.

Washer stopped, motor hums, door locked, water still in tank. how do i clear and restart?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time or is actually jammed by a foreign object.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is normally behind the front lower (kick) panel and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER- THERE IS LIKELY TO BE LOTS!

With the filter removed it is normally possible to see and check that the pump is free by hand/finger.
Afterwards it is also possible to check that the motor does work-
filter still removed, power back on, an empty drum, all water having been removed by removing the filter then select a spin cycle. At some point you should be able to see the pump start operating. If it doesn't there lies the problem.

It's surprising what people have found in their filters! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.

Hope this is the problem/cure and good luck!

Water in air conditioner

A lot of the newer window units design the outside fan to pickup the condensate water and sling it onto the coil. The evaporative effect makes the unit run more efficiently. They ususally don't spit, but if the unit is running well, otherwise, I would't worry about it.

Ready Heater wont start

Most likely, the motor is going bad,or the filter for the intake air is stopped up,if the filter is fine, then the motor is locking up,just replace it.

Need the BTU rating for an old Kenmore K948991 a/c

Your model number is not complete enough for a model check.
However, 18,000 btu in todays' units is what you need.
