Question about Televison & Video
When a dvd player stops reading disks, there are only two possibilities.
1. The lens inside the player needs to be cleaned with a disk cleaner.
2. Something has gone wrong with the dvd mechanism resulting in the need for repair.
You will not be able to get that particular unit repaired because Akai no longer has the parts available to fix it. If lens cleaner doesn't work, it's time to purchase a new dvd player.
