SOURCE: I need a Howard Miller battery mantle clock

Try www.klockit.com. You can replace the entire movement for about $5 including new hands. You can select from an assortment of hands that will probably match the style of what you have and use those if the old hands don't fit the new movement. I've bought several movements from them over the years. For a few more dollars you can upgrade to an "atomic clock" movement which synchronizes with the US time signal and even sets DST automatically.

SOURCE: How do you set the

Please be guided by this rule:
1. Use the minute hand only
2. Never move the hour hand by itself to set the clock
3.Never move the hand while the clock is chiming or striking.

These are the instructions. Please be guided too that It will take up to twelve hours before the chime sounds completely synchronize with the correct time.
1. Open the clock door to gain access to the clock hands.
2. Set the day/night lever all the way up --the strike position-- if applicable. Also, if your clock has automatic chime sequencing, turn it off. Setting the time with the lever set on "auto" may damage the chime mechanism.
3. Move the minute hand backward to the correct time. Do not move the hour hand--it will move as you adjust the minute hand. Moving the hand backward removes the need to wait for the chimes to sound when you pass each quarter hour. The chimes automatically synchronize with the time. It can take up to 12 hours for the chimes to sound properly and in sync with the time

I hope these will help you in your setup while patiently waits until the chime sync with your time.
Thank you for using Fixya.

SOURCE: I purchased an older Howard Miller clock and the clock is keeping time but pendulum is barely moving. What do I do?

Hi Pam,
I have a Howard Miller Grandfather clock and the pendulum swings very slowly and from far left to far right travels only about three inches at best. It doesn't need to move any more than that to make the "Verge" move the "Escape Wheel" to rotate the gears to keep the hands moving at the correct tick. Howard Miller Grandfather Clock

I have wound one of my Weights too tight it will not move. How do I Release the pulley mechanism please?

You have to get behind it and release the pawl. That is the ratchet like thing that holds it.

I have a Howard Miller model 610-363. It chimes between the quarter hour. About 9 minutes early. How do I fix that?

OK, google is your friend, but before I go there, recognize that pendulum clocks are generally regulated by the speed/period of the pendulum. A shorter pendulum has a shorter period/faster time and vice versa. So in general, look for the length adjustment of the pendulum weight.
Specifically, here is a link to a google-d search:
