SOURCE: do i ned instructions to fit new door seals i have the parts

See if you can lift the corner of the seal and see if there is a hook of some kind, if there is then all you do is unhook each corner, and remove seal, if no hooks, then it may be one of these tjhat is held in place by the the oven liner, and this is more of a tricky job to do.

Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: How to fit a Zanussi fridge door seal

You mean you have a door gasket. A good, step-by-step article on this pesky concept of "panel-screw" gasket installation is found on this handy page:

This should help!

How do u fit door seal on a zanussi fjdr 1666w

Removal of the Seal.
Remove plastic clamp holding seal to cabinet and peel off the cabinet. Push downwards on the seal close to the tub and the seal will come off - its just held by a spring around the outside.

To fit the new Seal.
Lubricate the slot which fits over the tub with washing-up fluid.
Starting at the top, press the seal, so the flange of the tub enters the slot on the seal.
Work your way round the using thumbs to force the slot on the tub flange.
When the slot is on the flange all way round, fit the spring which holds it on.
The spring goes into a slot on the outside of the seal.
This is difficult, you may need another pair of hands.
Fit the outside of the seal to the cabinet and fit the plastic clamping ring.

Test for leaks.
Use Rinse to test for leaks, since the water level is higher.

My MF135 Tractor has developed a leak round the bottom pulley. New gasket fitted round the timing gear but leak persists round crankshaft gear/pulley. How can I fix this?

Replace oil seal, check if pulley has grooves worn by the old seal. If it has resleeve with a resleeve kit from auto spares shop. Refit new oil seal & resleeved pulley.

How to fit seal on fluidmaster flush valve

before you replace the seal: inspect the bottom seal by running your finger around and inside the rim. not likely but could be a burr. If the seal is OK, install a new flapper bulb. while the old one may look fine, the rubber may have hardened and thus will no longer seal properly. It's an easy fix, just be sure to get the correct replacement bulb. AND/OR, buy some silicon plumber's grease. A small container costs $3 or so. Spread the grease on the bulb and the seal-rim; where the two pieces meet to form the seal. Should provide a better seal.

I have a bmw 520i e39 2002 reg and I am trying to change the side light bulb but it appears that the holder and bulb are one fitting complete. Is there any way round this as a new unit is expensive to say...

There has to be a way to access the bulb without replacing the whole unit-or BMW will be out of business soon. Maybe from the back where it's mounted, or maybe the lens is stuck to the unit by its waterproof rubber seal. Keep trying. All I can say.

Replaced passat side marker light. Now it does not fit tight.

Is it the bulb that does not fit tight...or the socket is loose in the bezel? You can carefully (with needle nose pliers and/or small screwdriver) bend the inside tabs of the socket for a tighter fit...also be sure you are using bulb lubricant to properly seal the bulb in the socket...Both fits are imperitive to new bulb life, and moisture proofing your marker light. Be sure you have not mis-placed a rubber seal that goes around the socket to assure the marker light stays dry. You can make a replacement gasket for the seal by using a thin piece of rubber...ie (bicyle innertube) trace around socket for new o-ring seal, and cut out with scissors. Hope this helps.

How do I install a low beam bulb on a 2005 volvo s40

1.If you did not put spare bulb in glove compartment for emergancies (for shame!), buy H7 bulb (W-Mart is best bet). Should be about $8.00 each. The two pack is a better buy.
2. Open car hood. Behind the bulb is a black plastic "peanut butter lid" type of cap that seals the bulb in the housing. Unscrew this cap (1/16 turn) and PUT IT SOMEWHERE SAFE.
3. You will now see back of bulb. Pull off the power wire.
4. At top of bulb is a tension wire holding bulb in place. Unhhook the wire and it will hinge down out of the way.
5. Remove bulb (note its orientation) and discard.
6. Take new bulb out of package, but DO NOT TOUCH GLASS. Only hold bottom. Finger oils on glass will cook and reduce bulb life. Wipe glass clean just to be sure.
7. Install new bulb using same orientation as old bulb (it will not fit any other way) and re-latch the tension wire. Re-attach power wire (a dab of dielectric grease here would make for a professional job).
Get black cap from your safe place, note which part is bottom, and screw back on (1/16 turn).
8. Test the light, close the hood.
9. Put spare bulb in glove compartment so that next time bulb dies

Fit new door seal

For most front-loaders:
Plug off the wall mains. Remove the plastic clamp holding the seal to cabinet & peel off the cabinet. Push downwards on the seal close to the tub & the seal will come off - it's just held by a spring on the periphery.
Lubricate the slot which fits over the tub with washing-up fluid. Starting at the top, press the seal so the flange of the tub enters the slot on the seal. Work your way round the using thumbs to force the slot on the tub flange. When slot is on the flange all way round, fit the spring which holds it on. Fit the outside of the seal to the cabinet - this is easy and fit the plastic clamping ring.
Test for leaks before using. Use rinse to test as the water level is higher.
(There is no glue anywhere, only clamps, etc)
