If the unit is cooling, see if you have any drainage outside. It has no choice but to dehumidify if it's cooling. The drainage amount is the give away. Make sure the fresh air vent is closed.K?One more thing, Is there any frost on the evaporator? the coils inside the house

If the compressor does not come on, you have no cooling , so you are correct, it is not dehumidifying.. Is this unit 110v or a 220 v unit? If 220v then there are two circuit breakers in the house breaker panel. Each breaker protects one 110 circuit and you need two 110 to get your 220. A 220 outlet is different than a 110v outlet. The slots in the outlet are different. Easy to tell. If it is 220v you will need to ensure both breakers are not tripped. Usually they are side by side and though seperate they work together, but not always. So if you must, turn them all off and then back on..Feel for a soft breaker, one that doesn't snap onn and off. It may have to be replaced. Let's try that, good luck.

My air is not all that cold and when I am stop at a red light it blows warm air it has plenty of Freon in it. What could it be?

If the air is cold when the vehicle is moving and goes warm when stopped, the fan at the rad/condenser may not be working,or working but not running fast enough.Sometimes there may be a second fan that comes on also.If the fan/fans are running and you can get cold air at a stop by increasing rpm then the system may be low on refrigerant.

Make sure your fan clutch is working. No fan, no cooling of the condenser, no heat dissipation, no cold air. Start the truck and make sure you feel air movement, a lot.

The AC unit turns on and I can cycle through the options in order to adjust the fan speed however the fan does not start in any of the three settings. The ac unit produces cold air, however the fan does...

You say the unit produces cold air ??? where are you getting the cold air from???
If your fan does not run in any speed F1, F2 F3. and a funny smell sounds like the motor is bad
Mine works in F2, F3 but not in F1

Fan is keeps jamming on out side unit machine runs but no cold air comes out

If the outside fan doesn't work , the compressor will shut off on overload and you won't get any cold air , so try to replace the fan capacitor and if still doesn't work , you have to change the fan motor.

Aircondioniong not working, no fan or cold air

Hi, this sounds like the heater resistor has failed and will require replacing, if the only thing that is not working is the blower motor this would normally be the cause, regards mark.

Refrigerator compartment cools correctly for a few days then no longer receives cold air from freezer. The freezer continues to operate and gets much colder than it should.

does your fan blow? freezers have a fan that pushes cold air to the fridge side if fan is bad freezer will run extremely cold and fridge won't cool down and since frige won't cool down thermostat in fridge doesn't tell compressor to stop
