I turned my refridgerator off for a month. How long does it take to cool.

try running with thermistor unplugged from board if it gets cold overnite replace if not possible bad cooling unit

The manufacturer's warranty was a 12 months limited warranty on the electrical parts, 3 months parts and labour, plus and additional 9 months parts only coverage. The plastic parts only had a 30 day warranty.

I do not recommend just throwing out the refrigerator. The refrigerant needs to be disposed of separately. (Even though it doesn't use Freon, there are restrictions on the disposal of the material.)

The compressor should turn on after it cools. It shuts down if it overheats to prevent damage/fire. The compressor itself could be bad but more than likely the fan is dead.

Check to see if the evaporator fan is blowing. Sometimes removing the back panel to expose the fan and hand turning it can make it come back on. If this doesn't work then the fan is bad. Also make sure that there is good circulation to the fridge side. Food can sometimes block air flow.

turn freezer to higher temp and turn fresh to lower temp this maximizes airflow into the refrigerator. check the door that regulates airflow into fresh side..see if its stuck closed for some reason. good luck! :)

Either the starter relay on the compressor has went bad or you are low on freon are the two most likely culprits. Listen for a clicking noise - that is the starter relay trying to start the compressor
